It the states in runs anywhere from $2,000 on up. I would not base where to get it done at on price though!!! I work for an eye dr and have seen a few of the surgeries go wrong! For the most part though, its pretty safe. Keep in mind that when you get older, you will probably still need reading glasses!!!! Most people don't know that and most of the surgery dr's don't tell you that! If my eyes were bad, I'd do it but I would be sure it is a reputable place that has done a LOT of them. When checking prices you really need to be sure on what it includes. a lot of places will say its only xx for the surgery but than they charge extra for the dr's visit and this and that, so you really have to be an educated consumer! A lot of reputable places will offer free seminars on lasar eye surgery.
