Technically I'm about to break some of ours. Normally we all go to my in laws house for dinner on christmas eve and open the family presents and have dinner. We drive round on the way home and look at christmas lights around Canberra and come home (and in keeping with my childhood) leave a carrot and some water for the reindeer and a letter, biscuit and a drink for santa (I left a beer one year when I was about 9 and we couldn't understand Santa's letter the next day. Seems Santa had a bit more beer than was in his glass!)Christmas morning the kids open their presents. Then on christmas day my parents and brother come over (we used to go there but with 8 of us in a 3 bedroom house it became a nightmare) we open my side of the family's gifts and eat roast pork, mangoes and mums creamy potato salad for lunch (this is the part I'm about to break) and spend the afternoon sitting round too stuffed to move! Oh and of course there's always the christmas pudding with custard (guess I'll have soy custard on mine this year!)
