Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Hello everyone!!

I hope you all are doing well. It's taking me quite awhile to catch up on all the posts that I missed, but eventually I'll get there. I hope everyone had great Thanksgivings and non-Thanksgivings.

My trip was great and I am so sad to be home and back to the reality of school. I am going to be at school non-stop for the next 2 weeks getting my projects done for presentations and all - but in 2 weeks it will be winter vacation and I couldn't be more thrilled!

So we were in New York City from Tuesday until today and it was so much fun and a really nice time to spend with my family. We went to Connecticut for most of the day on Friday and saw where my mom lived in Greenwich when she was younger and I have decided that I must live there because it just seems like the such a quaint and beautiful place for having a family and such. I'm not quite sure how well I'd do with harsh winters of the north, but I imagine I could deal with it if I put my mind to it. And after I earn my money working in NYC for a few years, I'll move to Greenwich and commute to work if I must-at least that's the plan

It rained some on the trip and got in the way of plans a couple of days but then it got so cold and it was just fantastic. I love the weather like that! So we saw the Macy's Parade and did lots of other random things I can't even remember all of, and shopping and driving and eating. And we went to the restaurant Serendipity (maybe you've seen the movie?? and they go there in the movie One Fine Day) but they are famous for their Frozen Hot Chocolate and I was good and didn't order one, but I couldn't help but try some of everyone else's though. All this holiday traveling has not been good for my immune system though and I feel like I'm getting a cold, so keep your fingers crossed that I ward it off!

I'll post pics from my trip in a bit once I get them all uploaded but I just thought I'd let you all know I was back and I can't wait to catch up on everyone's lives!
