I'm so sorry you are having such a rough time. I agree with the others that you do need to get out. He's definitely not the one for you. I have a friend that married a control freak and she is miserable.
You are young and you don't need to waste any more time on him. You need to make a plan, though, before you tell him. He will probably make you feel guilty....but that's to be expected. You will just have to muster up all your strength and go through with it. Do you have a close friend that can help you go through this? I think you will be so much happier on your own....he is just bringing you down.
I wish there was something I could tell you that would make it easier but there's not. Just want to wish you the best of luck and sending you many hugs.
