Driving through the Mid-western US on Thanksgiving       11/17/04 09:57 AM Edit Reply Quote JBI Reged: 01/25/04 Posts: 579 Loc: BC, Canada I've only got one more week of work before I head back to Ontario for good and I'm quite excited about it. My last day is the 23rd and then the plan was to drive back over the next 3 or 4 days. It's actually slightly quicker and more populated driving from Manitoba to Southern Ontario if I go through ND, Minn, Wis, Ill, Ind and Mich. However, I just realised that the days I'm planning on driving back are on your Thanksgiving weekend. How busy are the interstates? Does Everybody celebrate Thanksgiving on the Thursday and then go back to work on Friday or is it usually a 4 day holiday weekend and everybody celebrates on different days? I'm debating if I should wait an extra day so as to not have to travel on the Thursday in the US. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
