Hey everyone,
I think this may be my first post in the living room. Im always on these boards but I dont find myself getting enough time to post but as I have a spare half hour I thought I would! Right, to my question...does anyone else find that when they get butterflies in their stomach you panic that the ibs is gonna flare up and that it actually feels like it will?? Im a student and 2nite Im going out with my friends to a place that I love going because it plays our favourite music...BUT...Ive had a terrible morning with my ibs...had about 20 BM's or something ridiculous this morning and after taking 8 immodium it stopped...and Im feeling pretty much bunged up now if you know what I mean Its still a bit sore but I know theres no chance of me needing to go again...however....the other problem...the place we go to has unisex toilets...which I HATE! I always start getting butterflies thinking oh god what if I have an attack whilst Im here...and then I panic that that is gona cause an attack...I feel like I drive myself crazy!(Not to mention at college parties at peoples houses where there's one toilet and loads of people needing to go!) The thing is even when I get butterflies in an excited...adrenalin type of way...it still feels like its gona bring on an attack! I feel like I can never have those excited type of nerves without prompting an attack.... anyone else have the same problems??
