Hi. I'm new to this forum, but I've been chatting on the IBS board for a few weeks. Today I went to the movies with my family and i felt like a complete loser because while my kids and hubby munched on chocolates and soda pop I had my pathetic bag of cereal and a water bottle. Does anyone else feel out of place when going out with friends and family. Our kids' school had a steak dinner last week and all I ate were the rolls they passed out at the beginning of the meal. ALL MY FRIENDS know about my diet, because I'm not shy about it, but I still feel like the odd one out at social gatherings that include eating.

Social gatherings that iclude food make me uncomfortable. Does anyone else feel this way?
