-returned from the emergency room about an hour ago.
About 1:30 PM, my mother went to sit down on the couch. She was in such pain she could hardly move. I said to myself "that's it" and called my Aunt.
We took her to the ER and it turned out to be "sigh-a-tih-cah" (pardon me, but I don't know the spelling, off hand). She was well-taken care of & ended up thanking me...
I guess I learned that there's more than meets the eye. My mom is a very proud women who doesn't like to ask for help. My Dad is the pits at handling a crisis, therefore, since I'm at the home-front, it's usually up to me to do something. Anyway, it's seems that it's a part of having aging parents... She's been there for me, therefore, I must be there for her.
Thank you all for your feedback & rest assured, things will be alright. Phew!!!
