Why doesn't your mom follow up with her oncologist? Oh, I'd be so worried if it were my mom.
I would think that all you can do is try to encourage her to do what you know she needs to do. You can't force her, though, and if she's anything like my mom, you're just wasting your time and emotions, if you try to make her do something she doesn't want to.
My mom has some treatable conditions, but she has opted to do nothing about them. But, that's because she has so many things wrong, and she's tired of all the tests and solutions.
Sometimes, we just have to accept their decisions and let them live as they choose; and pray for them.
