I'm so sorry to hear this, Bob! It's so hard to watch someone you love in pain, and feel like there is nothing you can do about it. And it doesn't help when they fight you about it~ Maybe try talking to mom and letting her know how worried you are for her, and that you only have her best interests at heart. If that doesn't help, well, which is more important - helping mom get better or avoiding fights?
Hopefully the pain will go away and everything will be fine. Thinking of both you and your mom~
