Hey heather robin! Just wanted to chime in and say i relate. I am always the one driving on car trips, EXPRESSLY for the reason that this way I can pull over whenever I darn want to!!! Or we take 2 cars and I drive alone, no problem!!
I took a bus to Philly as a teenager, and had to knock myself out with benedryl to keep me calm for the ride. Funny coincidence, I too am going to be in Philly in a few weeks, and let me tell you, the place depresses me big time. I've also been through Allentown and I can see what you mean about that place.
Watch out for the xanax, tho. I come off of that stuff HARD, even after only taking it a couple of days. I don't feel right until after 5 days off the stuff. I get muscle cramps, am edgy and cry at the drop of a hat when I go off it. It's our generation's valium, so watch out.
