Who on earth made the silly rule that we have to be grownups all the time, anyway?! I do the same thing. I curl up downstairs on the couch with a bunch of blankets and pillows, shut off the phone and refuse to do anything productive or responsible, and bust out my copy of Where the Sidewalk Ends (one of my favorite childhood books), and eat nothing but chocolate-applesauce muffins & oven fries all day, if that's what strikes my fancy. Shel Silverstein and "junk food" (hey, it's safe junk food!) always do the trick; by the end of the day, I feel better for having indulged my inner 6-year-old. But anyway...
