I definitely think you should try to get disability. I tried, but Social Security isn't very sympathetic to IBS-ers. Now fibro is a completely different story. I would think you'd have no problems.
Ruchie, I don't know if this will be any consolation for you, but I'll throw it out for what it's worth. Christopher Reeve really WAS Super Man. Can you imagine what he suffered? Yet he never complained, not ever, and in fact inspired millions of us. I'm so in awe of him. I just think to myself, "Self, if that man can suffer like that and yet turn it around to help others, then I can manage this damn IBS with no problems!" Ruchie, you can manage your fibro too, believe me you can. I only have an inkling of the kind of suffering you are going through, but if Christopher can do it, we can do it too.
God certainly takes the good ones first, doesn't he?
