fibro + moving around + pain relief....       10/04/04 05:44 PM Edit Reply Quote jenX Reged: 08/11/03 Posts: 3252 Loc: Richmond, VA i used to be anti-pain relief, too. boy, did i hate to take stuff (except for cramps--- now THOSE drove me to meds!). anyway, now i am ALL ABOUT the medications. now, granted, they don't work a lot of the time, but even a little relief for a little while really can help. if i can buy myself 15 minutes of a little less pain, i'm going to do it! as for the moving around, i am now totally convinced that stretching is important. and believe me, i'm lazy! but i make myself do a few different stretches every hour, just to prevent some of the achies. and i try to get up and walk every few hours, just around the house or out of the building at work. i'm telling you, being still may be all your energy level can handle, but your body needs to move just a little bit or the pain gets even worse.
