I had it looked at a long while back (barium swallow test)and they said it was a hiatal hernia but very, very mild and I was given an acid reducer. It gets worse here and there so I take Zantac and it works. One thing I want to mention is that when this throat thing happens to me I sometimes feel myself getting tense and afraid. But if I ignore it, usually within 30 mins of eating it goes away. I have to remember I won't choke or anything. But if it's worrying you, ask for a test to make sure it's not something serious. Two of my friends at work have this and have both been given endoscopy scopes without really even wanting them. Try and get some much needed rest! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
