Many moons ago when we lived across town and our youngest was a little toddler; he came and got me and said there was a "squell" (squirrel) out the window. He was adamant about me looking at it, so I did. Turns out it was no squirrel; it was a rat. I'd never seen one before and it totally freaked me out. I just couldn't handle it at all. I'm so scared of those kind of things. Well, my husband set one of those huge rat traps and he caught the darned thing within a couple of days.
