Heat and IBS       06/26/18 05:58 PM Edit Reply Quote Digby Reged: 07/31/04 Posts: 453 I worked an outside event for 5 hours in the heat on Sunday. I drank a lot of water and stood in the shade as much as possible, but still, I had a bad case of D and ended up in the hospital due to low sodium levels. I know heat is an IBS trigger.
