Although this doesn't fit into the fitness arena, it definitely fits into lifestyle for me... I just found a great tool to help me better understand what's going on in my body because of IBS. There's an iPhone app called IBS Symptom Tracker (yeah, I'm a gadget junkie), and it lets me make notes about how I'm feeling when I have an episode and other times throughout the day. I've only had it for a couple days so far, but it looks like it will track these symptoms over time. I already feel like I have better control over my episodes because I can understand what might be triggering them. This is all so new to me (I just was diagnosed last month), so any feedback I can get about what's happening to me is such a relief.
There's also a way to send the info to my doctor, but I haven't used that yet. I'm glad it has it, though, because I'm never quite sure of my answers when he's asking me all these specific questions about what's going on.
Anyway, it's already helping me and I thought I should share in case it can help someone else, too.
