" That's my biggest concern with going to see one. At least I know my diet well and know better than to listen to them if they tell me wrong things, but I still don't want to waste my time, my doctor's time and the RD's time. I do snack on PB & pita bread, or tofutti cream cheese, or dairy-free nutella. I'm just constantly eating but I can't seem to get enough calories. The only thing I can think of to change/add is to have fish more often. I do well with fish and it does have a bit more fat/cal than plain chicken breast.
