I recently had my annual physical examination, which I get once every seven years, and when the nurse weighed me, I was shocked to discover how much stronger the Earth's gravitational pull has become since 1990. - Dave Barry

Score: 16 - Good

No exercises today. Sigh.


The scoring ranges for Phase 5 are:
0: Excellent!
1-26: Good
27-44: Fair
45+: Start Again

What I ate:

Pre-Breakfast:
Mug of decaf Constant Comment tea with generous teaspoon of honey
1/2 cup applesauce with 1 teaspoon Acacia

Breakfast:
2 slices cinnamon toast: Whole Foods White bread, Smart Balance Light, sugar, cinnamon
Egg white fried in a little Smart Balance Light
Mug of decaf Constant Comment tea with generous teaspoon of honey
One-A-Day Essential MultiVitamin; 500mcg Vitamin B12

AM Snack: I missed this

Lunch:
1 bowl Potato Leek Soup
2 slices baguette
Ginger ale (NOT IBS-safe - carbonation and HFCS)
500mg calcium from Tums; 200IU Vitamin D

PM Snack:
1 slice No Knead Bread (herb variation)
Honeybush Tea with 2 sugar lumps

Dinner:
1 bowl of My Chili over white rice
2 slices baguette with Smart Balance Light
Small green salad (this may NOT be IBS-safe for everyone): lettuce, deseeded cucumbers, green onions, broccoli, radishes, tomatoes, mushrooms
Oil and vinegar based dressing (this may NOT be IBS-safe for everyone)
500mg calcium from Tums; 500mcg Vitamin B12

Evening snack:
1/8 Gingerbread recipe from Heather's EFI Cookbook
Honeybush tea with 2 sugar lumps
500mg calcium from Tums; 200IU Vitamin D


I got 6 additional teaspoons of Acacia throughout the day, for a total of 7 teaspoons of Acacia.
I got 88 ounces of fluid which is great.
