Hi Christy- I took Librax 4 times a day for a couple of months. It didn't seem to help prevent attacks. However, I noticed it really helped to STOP attacks, making them less severe and resolved in a shorter time. My doctor states its not "supposed to" work this way, but after a year & a half and half a dozen meds, I'll take all the help I can get! I didn't have any problems with withdrawal. The anti-anxiety in it I believe is Lithium, which is a pretty mild anti-anxiety med. Good luck!
