Hello Everyone. I'm new to this and I have IBS-C most of the time, although occasionally the opposite extreme occurs in full force. I've read Heather's book on first year IBS and studied this site. I've started eating more white bread, rice, etc. and exercising (running on the treadmill) for about 30 minutes each morning. I still can't seem to "go" normally, however. I've noticed on the "reports" on the message board that some IBS-C users seem to include more high fiber foods in their diet. I'm wondering if this is safe and would help my problem? I've been eating squash or mixed veggies in combination with rice or pasta, but I'm wondering if more fiber would help without hurting. I'm scared to overdo the fiber. Any tips on achieving the right balance?
