I think my family history is all farmers and fur traders. So plenty to eat there unless because of the cold winters they packed it on! I guess I do that too! Yes I am not fat. I weigh around 135 right now. I was 126 last summer and wanted to get down to 120 in summers and 125 in winter, but instead I gained 10 pounds. I do a cross training sort of routine. I do intense weights with exercise ball etc 3x a week and aerobics about 5-6 times a week. I alternate between biking and walking/jogging/hiking. I also backpack. Unfortunately, my job is much more sedentary than my old jobs. I do force myself to exercise everyday but then some days at work I sit the whole time. My diet plan right now is to allow myself things I know I need and then to reduce total amounts. I let myself eat a lot of fruit and I eat a good breakfast and quite a lot through the morning. I am trying to eat a smaller dinner and less sweet things in evening (I wish I didn't need any!). I also sometimes need something like trail mix or an extra luna bar to get through exercise. Most days my diet is like this: malt o meal (I cut out the raisins recently to save cals) exercise 1 hour luna banana fruit salad (pineapple, melon, berries) some lunch such as leftovers or a sandwich or something and baby carrots some snack like another banana and maybe something sweet 4-6oz meat, rice and vegetable with some sauce or something maybe sherbet or a smoothie but often times a bowl of cereal in evening- or more, or chocolate I just find things taste so good I eat when I am not actually hungry. Also you guys need to get my water intake up to what it used to be. I hate running to the bathroom at work all the time. I so wish I worked at home!

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
