Gold, I just joined the online WW program, and in particular the WW Support Board. I asked if anyone there has IBS, and was surprised to discover there are a few. Here's what several folks said about their IBS and WW:

I am the IBS Queen! LOL! Try Beano. I keep a can of Febreez at my desk. The office is used to it now. Can't help it. My b/f and son will never get used to it. It's natural and a part of life. A healthy person passes gas at least 14 times a day. You can (a) be healthy and pass gas or (b) be unhealthy and still pass gas!

Here's another:

try checking here: http://www.ganedenbiotech.com/index.php?page=DAIBS I bought this recently and have not had a problem with bouncing back and forth from one extreme to the other.... It works best to take it consistently.

And another:

I have IBS that is triggered by exercise which makes it hard to lose wight. I can do cardio as long as I'm careful but if I try lifting weights (especially anything abdomical) I have an instant IBS attack. I can eat pretty much anything (except brocolli and fish) most of the time, but if I'm in the middle of an episode I pretty much can't eat anything solid for weeks. I wish there was some sort of solution. I will be glad to take them if anyone has one.

And here's the last, and the best:

Quote:

I'm sorry you have IBS, it's no fun. I have it as well. I can't eat many things - no dairy, wheat, corn syrup, have to limit fruit & veggies to once a day and they can only be bananas and squash. I am on the core plan, because I can eat lots of lean meat, brown rice, barley and quinoa. (These things can be high in points....) I am having success with core, my sweet tooth is gone. I'm not too hard on myself for not making the 8 healthy guidelines, it's really not possible to get all the fruit & veggies in -- I concentrate on drinking a lot of water. I hope you find something that works for you, and I hope you get relief!

One more thing, with my IBS I can't have anything "convenient" like frozen meals, and I can't have most desserts. Also, I can't really go out to eat. I have to cook a lot, so I make all of my meals on the weekend and freeze them. Hope this helps! I know it's a bummer but it is soooo worth it to be healthy!

Hope that helps, Gold! That last one helped me.
