if you scroll down the page a tad and look to the far right column you'll see tryptophan and click on that to lead you to more info.
what food gives me "tryptophan?" Note, it's different for all...but for me: spinach and cremini mushrooms usually does the job. i don't know why, but it's so NERVE calming and energizing and soothing. That's my personal top tryptophan combo. bananas really do it, too. asparagus, broccoli, green beans, swiss chard...and MUSHROOMS!!! Warped.
and i'm one high-strung stressed out uptight chic somedays.
of course, you might find this list totally irrelevant, silly and inapplicable.
