Well...I went for an hour's walk--market day! How depressing, the end of summer. Oh well.

Beyond that, I mostly just veg-ed out. I think I'm coming back to my senses after my meat/fish streak of late. Mostly I wanted soy and almond milk, today and veggies. So...I honoured that. Still got plenty of protein--over 86g.

Maybe my menopausal sweats/hot flashes are making me crave the soy. I literally get saturated in my own sweat. Honestly, I could go for a walk in the Artic and still feel like I'm in a sauna. Weird. I'm not exaggerating either.
I literally sit in my shorts and just drip...it looks like I've been running a race.

Weird muscle development comment. My right arm is hugely larger than my left. I do write with it and lift more.

Still fighting a cold so keeping the fluids and the veggies up to speed. Tons of tea, soupy stuff...

Here's what I ate:

--3 or 4 c. soy milk (yeah, seriously! my osteopenic bones are just sucking the calcium.)

--celery
--cauliflower/broccoli
--asparagus
--cremini mushrooms
--brussels sprouts (don't laugh too hard! when i've got a cold, i fiercely crave them and they don't cause me a problem as long as I use Beano!)
--red swiss chard

Calories? Who really cares. I feel good. I hope a few extra mushrooms or brussels sprouts don't make me obese or fat!

Do you think it's hugely obsessive and anal to count veg. calories?

Oh, it's late and I give up. Indeed, I surrender. But seriously, when I don't count veg. calories i hugely worry about gaining weight.

Perhaps it's because plant food is so filling and satisfying?

Oh...and I'm totally over my craving for cow's milk after my Thanksgiving flashback. Trust me...I neither need nor want to pay the price. Oh...my bones feel so happy tonight. If you've ever read "Women That Run With the Wolves" and the tale of "Bone Woman" you might understand.

Kate.
