Hi Ashley,
I don't have any great advice to offer, but I just wanted to say I know exactly what you are going through. Your post reminded me so much of me, except that rather from going from a size 4 to a 6, I went from a 4 to a 12!!  But I feel the same frustration, like I am eating less and healthier and exercising more and I just feel like I'm not even the same person!
And yeah, my family make similar comments. How I look pregnant, bloated, unhealthy.. yada yada yada.
I guess age must have something to do with it, especially when the other changes should make a positive difference.
So weird, so frustrating.
Anyway, good luck! I really hope you can figure out a good way to get to where you feel most comfortable.
