Came home today with a list of topics to research, I figure that's what a newbie needs to be doing. Doing just that, I stumble into not 1 but 5 warm, caring, and witty responses to my first post! Feelin' the love & LOL.
The Vegas thing? Fantastic, just might. Never been, but hear it's our kind of place...actually having TV and slots IN the bathrooms. How thoughtful of them. Come join us in Vegas Rob...(we have another Rob coming from NYC who was there last year)....there are more bathrooms in Vegas than Sig alerts on the LA freeway system. We have a list of the most unusual bathrooms in Vegas. Wanna piece of the Berlin Wall in your bathroom? How about a Star Wars bathroom that has auditory commands and analyzes the contents of the bowl? (or so they say) There's that and more, the best part being with other IBS'rs and meeting Heather in the flesh!
Besides, you're not the only one wheat allergic...I've been for years. We can fight over the spuds and rice in the buffet line!!! LOL

I have another warm (burning hot actually) feeling today, the kind that makes me carry baby wipes and prep H everywhere I go. Very rare since on this diet, and not as severe. I'm applying the foods and methods for stabilizing quickly and know relief will come very soon. I used to do a detailed food diary. Wrote notes (in code, in case someone else should get a look at it) about how I felt/ stress level/exactly what consumed. I'm starting it again tomorrow after reading about how useful this has been for some of you also. Thnx! Yes, a diary is useful if you're just starting out. Some of us have unusual triggers that you can only pinpoint buy writing them down. Kandee
