Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

I had the WORSE happen today. Taking my daughter to summer school, I had an attack & no bathroom around anywhere. Yeah, I did it...in my shorts. AHHH! I had to drive 20 more minutes to drop off my daughter and then guess what happens the gas light comes on. I want to die. I make it to drop my daughter off and then look for the first gas station with one around (IMAGINE). I put in $5 worth, I just want to get out of there and get home.
I remember about 4 years ago when I learned about the IBS diet, I lost 30 pounds. I was feeling great! Little by little I started taking chances with foods and also started gaining weight. Well here I am 5'3", 217. And what's even worse is that I have lost all will power. I think I'm a basket case. I went to a therapist twice, but I don't see how she could help me gain control. My IBS is out of control because of my stupid choices. I have tried to visit this message board on regular basis before, but I stopped. Well, I'm back again. I'm sorry to go on and on, but I need to let it out. And I'm thinking that you guys can probably understand better than anyone.
