Yikes! I am at a loss for how to fill in the caloric blanks.
Seriously...I eat too "healthy." I kept it soft today--bad TMJ and yesterday's sweet corn had a bit of a kick in the arse.

Is it just me or does IBS-D make you really mentally anal retentive about your eating habits?

In usual hobbit habit...blah,blah,blah...:
--1/2 c. apple/apricot sauce (x2)
--1.5 c. beets
--red chard, dill (puree)
--zucchini
--spinach puree (with basil and parsley)
--1 c. organic new potatoes (with lavender, rosemary, thyme)
--organic no chicken broth

I think I'll hit the carrots, later. I need some orange. Maybe crackers or applesauce. I think I need a little safe corruption and to venture beyond my ridgid ways. It's a tad isolating. Everyday, I feel a little psychologically safer.

Re: How everything was assembled.

The beets were mixed with the red chard and zucchini. I mixed some zucchini with the potatoes and the spinach. It really hardly took much time at all. I zapped the zucchini with the potatoes/herbs and the beets with the zucchini as well. I thought I'd pull a "Retrograde" and used canned beets. Memories of being a crazy student!!! Greens hardly take any time at all and well assembly was kind of a less than ten minute no major fuss deal. For those leery of consuming greens, I highly recommend spinach/potatoe as a starter combo with maybe a little zucchini. I love watercress soup or watercress potatoes as well and it's basically steamed potatoes and herbs and chopped watercress in the blender with as much or as little stock as you like.
That lavender smells so good!!! I love just zipping outdoors or to my massive window box.

I was in the mood to leave the skins on, today.

Anyways, I think I may choose to check out some of those other aisles for some IBS friendly ideas. It's like I'm an alien, completely unfamiliar with all of these things others talk about, especially name brands!
