I thought it would be beneficial to make a list of some safe food ideas that are lower in calories. I know of a few but need some help with new ideas- especially for work days.
So please post some low cal choices.
My entries are: cooked baby carrots, little cans of lite fruit, omelet with mushrooms and spinach, blended veggie soup, or root veggie soup.
Also are rice cakes an option to substitute for my normal pretzels?
IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
