Heather REALLY does not recommend this and she's a lady who's investigated pretty much everything to do with IBS. Ask yourself this: Has your acupuncturist got IBS and has she had one done? If the answer to both isn't yes, then why is she pushing this for you when she obviously doesn't know all that much about IBS guts - ie. they are very sensitive and being harsh with them will just trigger worse IBS.
