It wasn't a shock or anything, we've been expecting to have to make this decision for the past year. he's now 15 1/2, has lung, brain & possibily liver tumours, has gone blind from cataracts, has arthritis, has had 2 strokes and sometimes loses control of his hind quarters, which also sometimes results in him pooing himself. We were just waiting until he wasn't enjoying life anymore...now it seems like he's in pain alot of the time and he's getting quite distressed, so it's time. I've gotten tomorrow off work so I can be there and then stay home (my Mum's really upset).
Thanks for caring. I'm gonna miss him loads, but he's had a good run of it and he had a great life with us (he was a rescue dog).
