I was a marathon runner for years... then I had to quit for injuries.. and was mostly sedentary but i still walked a ton and rode a bike on occasion and lifted weights, etc... but my weight went up and I got heavy. Anyway- since I started training for a major race and riding seriously again... I had gotten back to 125- below my former plateu of 127.. but today I got on the scale for the first time in 2 weeks and I've lost 5 pounds and been eating more then I can remember eating in ages... I am not counting calories because I knew I was increasing activity levels, but I had increased intake, I thought enough- apparently not. or my metabolism has picked back up again.. either case- not complaining, though I can't afford to lose too much weight without having other issues.. so hopefully it will stay at or close to what it is now or a bit more will come off slowly... just thought I'd share! I have more energy now then I've had in ages too since I started biking like that!

Just thought I'd share, maybe it will help some of you. of course I do have to watch I don't get to be skin and bones or anything!
