I have taken Rx strength "Aleve" - Naprosyn - off and on for many years because I have a really bad back (scoliosis, degenerative disk disease). This past spring my doctor prescribed naprosyn again because my back pain was flaring up really badly. It totally TORE UP my stomach, even though I was taking it with food I know this was Rx strength stuff, but I couldn't help adding my two cents in about Aleve I just don't want anyone to suffer as much as I did I also wonder if taking the naprosyn (and some other anti-inflammatories) over the years has contributed to my stomach problems. My doctors won't even let me have any anti-inflammatories anymore, so I'm stuck with Tylenol (which doesn't do much).
