They are little foil pouches that contain liquid concentrate of peppermint tea. So you can make a single serving of tea anywhere without brewing. I figured they'd be great to tuck in the purse for when you are at work or out to eat especially, you could just dump it in your ice water and have instant peppermint ice tea.
