Hi Order both books if you can afford to. The First Year of IBS is very informative and most of all, reassuring. The recipe book only works if you follow the recipes. I am not really a cook...in fact, I usually get hurt in the kitchen , but these are the greatest recipes, and can be easily made. Early successes and good tasting foods are great motivators. Good luck.
