Hello ladies, I've had a mild case of IBS all my life, but it became 10 times worse when I was pregnant. Most women get constipated during pregnancy, but I was not so lucky. Now my baby is 16 months old, and it has not improved at all. I told my OB about it while I was pregnant, and he said it was nothing to worry about and it would probably go away after the birth of my daughter. When it didn't, I began to see a gastroenterologist. After dozens of tests and "I'm not sure"s from the doctors, I now take about 10 pills a day, still experiencing some (but not as much) symptoms as I used to. I've never heard of it being related to hormones, but it makes sense and it's something I'm definitely going to look into. Jill
