Snacks on the run - variety & safety

Hi Heather et al.,

I'm not sure where to post this letter...When I'm at work and on the run, I need to eat. But I am looking for variety in my snack foods, beyond what I usually eat: homeade lowfat muffins, cookies, and granola bars, as well as cereals, rice crackers, bananas, and toast. Any ideas? -


I am looking for some new ideas for healthy snacks. I love carrots, and I know that cooked ones are considered safe, soluble fibre. But what about raw carrots? Are raw carrots insoluble fibre or not? Can raw carrots be eaten safely on an empty stomach?
