I know what you mean about being shocked about dairy. I was a regular yogurt-eater and would even just eat chunks of cheese by themselves as a snack. Since eliminating it from my diet ( ), I have realized that when I do have it, at a minimum I am very gassy. I can tolerate small amounts of milk products in other foods, but what a shock that it really does bother me!
