Alcohol is one of the biggest IBS no-nos. There is no such thing as an IBS-safe alcoholic drink. However, if you want to challenge your IBS big time and risk an attack, then having an alcoholic drink is definitely the way to do it! I, personally, cannot touch a drop. Even a thimbleful of alcohol would send me into a downward spiral of IBS-D and agony. Even thinking about having an alcoholic drink irritates my IBS! Evian water is the strongest drink I drink and I can always walk a straight line afterwards! I would highly recommend a good bottled water, and the bonus is, it looks just like Vodka!
