Hey, atomic rose -- I have the excat same reaction! I don't know what it means in terms of IBS, though. I hope somebody here knows!  It could be useful, I think, taking it to your doctor. And it's also a good reminder; I'm going to try to remember when I go on Tues for my appointment.
For me, I think it's only an excessive amount of sugar, or some kinds of sugars... like, the corn pops that are supposed to be safe, if I have a few small bowls in a day, I have D for sure. etc.
I'm sorry you had D and felt bad.  And, it's good to make those connections!
I'd love to hear back, what you hear from your doc...if you feel like sharing. Hope you feel better soon!
