Janene,

I'm also a D.

My IBS kinda sneaked up on me, gradually-like. The first thing to bother me was pork. I quit eating it. About 10 years later, it was red meat. I quit that too. Then I noticed fatty foods (like french fries or potato chips) would give me terrible cramps, so I quit them. I was still eating dairy all the time, as well as dark poultry meat, and of course coffee. Pretty soon the dairy started bothering me. I told me GI it didn't, and he said to quit it anyway. I ignored him, but it turns out he was right. After awhile, the dairy started cramping me up, just like the potato chips. I fought it for a long time, still having my beloved pizza, until I finally couldn't tolerate the attacks -- which got worse the more I ate of the stuff. Of course now I wouldn't touch anything dairy, not even if it was the last ingredient on a box of croutons.

I think IBS gets worse (or more intense) as our tummies get more sensitive, and we can tolerate less than we used to.

If it were me, I'd switch over to Soy Dream frozen non-dairy dessert (I am soooo addicted to Mocha Fudge!), and see how my tummy reacts. If you find yourself with a happy tummy, you'll have the answer.

Bev

P.S.: Amy's Soy Cheese frozen pizza ROCKS!
