Thank you all for your advice.

I am aware of the addictive potential but I have literally exhausted all other options, and they think the pain is being increased because of my endometriosis, but it's going to take a few months to see a specialist for that. I've actually been on the drug before, a long time ago before my stomach problems for a severe bone infection, and I had no problem coming off it.

The pharmacist explained it to me that if you're pain truly is genuine, you won't have as much trouble, and that it's important to not take more than you need...I was actually just more concerned about it making my tummy worse rather than better.

I think I'll half the pills and start with that and see how we go
