I know you say you don't like Stevia. Have you tried liquid Stevia? I've found it has NO aftertaste at all. (I'm using the "Now" bnand, and also the "Herbal Select" brand, and was pleasantly surprised how good it tasted, just plain sweet, since I don't like licorace).

Also, like others suggested, trying other brands. Stevia is actually good for us. I did a lot of online research on it...it can help stabilize blood sugar levels... and it doesn't seem to impact negatively on IBS...

Maybe...try again?
