I sometime use prodiem, which is a psyllium fiber supplement. You do not mix it in water, but instead its like granules you put in your mouth first, then swallow with a glass of water. I've noticed that when I take it, my stools (although bulked up) are also very hard, dry, and "sharp" coming out... sometimes I even bleed. Has anyone else experienced this?
Also, I find that the very thick metemucil seems to give me better results than the metemucil smooth, which doesn't seem to bulk up the stools as much.
Just wondering if anyone wanted to comment on either of these
