Hi, I haven't been around for a little while so I'm not sure if we have "met" yet! I am also a "c" person. I know when I go too long without going my colon goes into overdrive. My colon is finally like "ok, this stuff has been in here way too long, everything out NOW! And everything incoming is not staying in for very long!"

It usually takes a couple days to get "evened" out again. I find my tummy is very sore and bloated after this happens. You would think the bloating would go down after getting everything out but it usually takes a while!

I find it best, during these bad times, to try to balance very carefully my soluble and insoluble fiber. Too much soluble without enough insoluble and I'm stopped up again. Too much insoluble without enough soluble and I can't get to far from the potty!

If your tummy is really sore, use the heating pad. Its my best friend in times like these! Keep up the water intake also. Its really not good for your colon, to go so long without eating a little something. Even a few graham crakers or a handful or dry cereal, just keep something in there so it doesn't cramp down on itself.

Hope you're feeling better soon!
