I particularly become aware of it when I'm doing my morning sitting meditation. I can feel the difference in my breathing; when I'm bloating (whether from a bit of "intestinal distress" or PMS) the breath feels very constricted. Interesting how different bodies experience & percieve things differently, huh? Fennel tea is so very helpful (warning... disgusting vocabulary coming) makes you fart like a banshee, but that's kinda what we want, isn't it, to get the gas out? Also, in answer to another question on this thread, try a little chicken broth or ponzu sauce on the rice or noodles. Makes them very palatable. Good wishes; hope you're feeling better soon.
