Re: Thanks so much everyone...but it didn't work       05/08/03 10:25 PM Edit Reply Quote KinOz Reged: 02/02/03 Posts: 909 Loc: Brisbane, Australia Thanks for all your good wishes everyone but unfortunately it didn't work so I won't be in hospital on Monday having my eggs collected. Apparently my ovaries have decided to be in the 1% (Yes 1% only and it had to be me - how frustrating!) that do not want to respond to follicle stimulating hormone. Most women respond with about 15 eggs on the dose I'm on. Anyway, the plan of action is to up the dose for the next 4 days and see my doctor on Monday for a scan to see if we have an improvement. I'm trying to be positive and keep things normal especially as I don't want to upset the IBS (it's already flaring due to the hormones) but it's hard not to be down over it all. It's just so unbelievable that I am doing all this to try and have a baby and it still won't happen. I'll keep you posted with any progress and I am very thankful for your support.
