Hey there everyone,

I've just been diagnosed with PCOS and was wondering if anyone had any words of wisdom for dealing with IBS and PCOS.

I remember quite a bit of discussion about it a couple of months ago, and wanted to know how everyone was doing, and if the diet changes (ie. low carb diet) have helped much.

I bought a great book on PCOS and it recommends cutting down on refined carbs like sugar etc, but is fairly flexible with the complex carbs (thankfully). With wheat intolerance, IBS and now PCOS I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever be able to eat out again. I've been going out a bit and doing a lot of travelling recently and have been finding it so hard to stick to all my dietry requirements, and generally feeling terrible as a result. Even asian foods get me everytime....I think I'll be soley on good 'ol home cooked foor for the next couple of months. Hope there aren't any more "syndromes" out there for me to develop.

Sorry...should try not to vent too much. I was just hoping some of you might be able to help me get my head around this. Like, has your IBS improved once you got the PCOS under control??? That would be wonderful.

Thanks for any help, all the best

Emma
